What do these new notes feel like?

These make interesting notes when you iron them. They shrink to about half of their original dimensions. That's deflation for you!

Starting in November 2011, the Bank of Canada will be introducing new polymer bank notes into circulation. The $100 bill will be introduced on November 14, 2011, followed by the $50 bill in March 2012. The remaining denominations will be issued on polymer by the end of 2013. The new notes will have a different look and feel, along with some new security features that will make them easier to verify and more difficult to counterfeit. Polymer notes are also better for the environment. They last at least 2.5 times longer than paper-based notes and will be recycled, lowering replacement costs and environmental impact. Glenn

Typical ebay tactic. The seller has sold something that is not even released yet. The item will not be shipped until after Nov 14, obviously...
