Walkers are notorious for weak strikes, especially visible in lady liberties left hand. But check out this ms67 by PCGS and notice the left hand. Does this seem right?

A good example of buying the coin not the slab.

If he sent it in to be slabbed then it wouldn't be that strange. If his plan was to sell it after slabbing it would make a lot of sense to get good raw pictures of the coin before you send it in so that the plastic of the slab isn't in the way.

What makes you think the coin was photographed outside the slab? The black around it? Anyone could PhotoShop any colour as a mask around the slabbed coin for contast.
