Hi, just wondering what the best US coin reference guide book would be. Something with pricing, mintage, so on and so forth. Any help is great thanks.

I think most everyone would agree that if you could only own one coin guide it would be the RedBook.

As already noted the Whitman Publishing Red Book is the most popular one for almost enverything. And then too if you go to the Whitman Web site, you would see they also publish the Blue Book, Cherry Pickers Guide and lots, lots more. I always suggest people contact Whitman for a catalog of all their publications.

The Red Book is the best overall reference guide. The prices are secondary to its purpose.

For prices, I use NumisMedia. It pulls up nicely on my DROIDX. The prices, like the Red Book, represent retail; therefore, they are generally the most you should expect to pay.
