Now if eveyone posting those other great Mercury dimes would just send them to me, I could start more sets of MS graded Mercury dimes. Then this post would be a lot shorter since I'd have them all. Even a slight rub can leave behind mark. I have a Proof 1942 with one lower ribbon almost completely polished off from the die. Single ribbon proof. Report this Post to the Staff
paleoguy45 Pillar of the Community United States 2936 Posts	Posted 11/16/2011 2:31 pm @macmercury - I haven't had any problems with the Proof Mercury thus far, but I did have issues with a PR-66 Walker. The mylar slide did some damage to the surface and I ended up trading it to a local coin dealer for Morgans. PG Report this Post to the Staff
