Thanks for the compliments. Now if eveyone posting those other great Mercury dimes would just send them to me, I could start more sets of MS graded Mercury dimes. Then this post would be a lot shorter since I'd have them all.
Now that is me being a bit greedy.

Paleoguy,

Proof coins are really tough to handle, any difficulties in placing it into the album?

Even a slight rub can leave behind mark.

I have a Proof 1942 with one lower ribbon almost completely polished off from the die. Single ribbon proof.

@macmercury - I haven't had any problems with the Proof Mercury thus far, but I did have issues with a PR-66 Walker. The mylar slide did some damage to the surface and I ended up trading it to a local coin dealer for Morgans. PG
