I think you did just fine there. You're looking at around $105 in just melt value alone, and the two early halves are probably worth at least an extra $20-30 on top of that. It may not be the steal of the century, but certainly nothing to sneeze at.

As I said, I swapped out the rougher examples with better ones and kept the display case since it was so nice.

I'm contemplating leaving these in my 7070 when I sell it. I'm swicthing over to a stackable tray type storage with each coin individually encapsulated.

The Bust Half is a lot scarcer variety than I thought. It's an 1824/4, listed at PCGS as an R-5.

The deal just got a little better perhaps.
