midnightrider New Member United States 32 Posts	Posted 11/16/2011 11:32 pm I got this at Walmart back in the spring for right around $100 . It is very heavy (with all the coins and stuff in it I'm sure it is over 200lbs) and is rated for 30 mins fire protection. The only thing I don't like about it is that the handle is plastic and feels kind of cheap. I think it is a decent small safe, much more so than a regular firebox anyway, but not quite as good as a gun-safe. I plan on buying a gun safe once I get my house built, just don't have room for something that bulky at the moment. Report this Post to the Staff

It looks like it will be $297, that is $100 off on Lowes black friday sale. I think it might fit into the closet of my spare bedroom.
