Looks VF 25ish to me ... and I really like the clashing, though the one SuperDave has, or at least has a picture of, is the most extreme I've seen.
Really nice piece of history there. It has a charm all it's own like so many of the early silver coins.
I wish my 1811/09 dime was in lots better condition, but they only struck 20 thousand and on one pair of dies that were ready for the trash heap. It has a similar charm even though it's terribly worn.

Those are really great die clashes. I just got my Overton book last night so I am no expert, but I believe you have an O-108. You can see that the E in States was cut over An A. You can see the base of an A between the E & S.

First, Jeffrose, that is an amazing coin!Second, I can't wait for the " 32 days of Capped Bust half dollars" REVISITED coming on the 1st of December! Thank you for helping to remind folks about it! Third: Did I say I REALLY like this coin type?! This is my 1814 CBH I think is an Overton of O-108a. I see many characteristics of yours (I always thought the marks to the right of the bust on the obverse were PMD...) Thoughts?   Edited by Moe145

I'm a little patial to busties
This is my best guess VF-25
Definatly o-108.
Obverse: star 1 between denticles, star 7 center, star 8 lower half of denticle, star13 scalloped point. In the date the second 1 is lower than the first 1. there is a tiny round dot attached to the inner point of star 2.
Reverse: 1st A is pointing to the lower half of the denticle, A2 points to the upper half of denticle, A3 points to the upper end. now this is where I might have a small problem, it looks between to me. E in states is over an A. you can see the bottom of the A between E & S. there is a bold defect line crossing the upper pair of olive leaves. there is a die crack crossing the leaves, tip of wing to un in UNITED. nice die crack base of ED through STATES to the middle of F. the upper notch of N in UNITED is partly filled. the relationship of T and I is the right sides are in line. and last the lower right serif of F is recut.
