Since the last time I posted pictures of my Morgan dollar date set there have some major changes. It still is not complete with six dates and a Carson City example for the mint mark hole in the last page yet to be acquired.

The letter(s) for the mint mark next to the date indicates what is in that hole. Enjoy!

Very sweet looking set. Whats nice about them is they all look to be around the same grade level and all have great eye appeal. How long has this taken you to build?

It seems jdbarrick was so impressed with my set thus far he stuttered while typing his post, LOL!

My goal is to have a matched MS-63 set and there are a couple of MS-64's in there. The 1899-O is an MS-63PL and the 1880-CC is a VAM-6 8 over low 7 which I was unawre of when I bought it. THe guy I got it from didn't notice it either to my benefit as it turns out. There will be three dates, 1893, 1894, and 1895, which are out of my budget in MS-63 at the moment, for those I'll get the highest possible grade that I can manage and then save to trade up when I have enough to do so. I've been working on it in earnest since late February this year and it has progressed far better than I had anticipated.
