It looks like this is obverse 5-s2 which shows a fine die crack from the edge across the 8 and top of second 1. There is also a die break through the 8 that develops a lump that partly fills the lower loop of the 8. There should also be a crack from the base of 18 to the left joining all of the stars and another through the 2 that joins the first crack.

It would help if you posted larger pictures and also included an image of the reverse. I'm pretty sure it's reverse D-s2, though, which would make the Overton variety 105a which has a rarity of 2.

Thank you. I don't have a very large collection anymore, but most of it is Capped Bust halves. My son and I have just started filling the Dansco Early Halves (volumes 1 and 2) albums. Our first purchase was an 1811 punctuated date that has really great cameo toning. One of the reasons I love this series is that they tone so nicely. I actually prefer these in the VF to EF range rather than uncirculated because of this. I'll get a picture of this one posted soon. This can be my contribution to the 32 Days of CBH's!

The marker for the Rev D-s2 is a crack from the edge of the leaves through the top of UNITED. There is too much wear for me to see if it is there, but I would be very surprised if it wasn't. I am sure this is an O-105a.
