My guess would be AU-50. It looks like it still retains some of the luster.

XF-40. XFs are allowed to retain some luster. There looks to be a little too much going on with the hair ribbon and buffalo's head for AU IMO. I was going to bump up to XF-45, because it has a "choice" feel to it, but a rim bump at 1 o'clock and another hit on the buffalo's base made me back off.

XF-40 hesgut is right on, too many times we forget the 3rd side - the edge, it counts too!

I would bump it up a notch...XF45, just because I am feeling pretty good today!

This one jumps up into triple digits above VF20, according to numismedia.com
