We are talking about a W14:
http://www.britishfarthings.com/Tok...over-01.html
An Andover farthing 1666.

I got it as part of a collection and I am considering selling it to a friend who collects tokens. But I have no idea what to charge for it. I estimate grade to VF. Slightly green but no planchet error. I know you want pics - don't we all - but my skills and/or equipment just isn't up to the task. In case I do have a VF, what would it be worth?

It's hard to determine a reliable price because there are few out there to reference. Also depends on how you are selling it.
I saw a VF-XF example that sold on a retail site with a good picture for £48.
Another was up on ebay in a lot with two other Hampshire farthings and the pictures weren't so good. The Andover one looked to be VF or so, but the whole lot sold for a little over £13 total with shipping.

Numismat, thank you for your answer. My friend lives close by, so I do not have to produce good pictures to sell, he will get a first hand look at it for as long as he desires. I just wanted to know what would be a fair price to charge him. Neither of us have a catalogue for tokens to assist us in price setting.

Do you have a link to the VF-XF-exemplar? It would be interesting to see and compare to mine.

Sure thing: http://www.vcoins.com/world/baldwin...Product=3018

Keep in mind that this coin was being sold by Baldwins, a major venue. The "friend price" should be around £25 for one in similar condition.
