I just came into a hoard of 26 US bills. I am a coin collector and not a currency collector. I wanted to know what to look for, what are some rarer notes. There are no star notes or Radar notes. I'll list what I have and then post pics later on. All notes are circulated, although there are a few nice older $5 notes. If you can, can you please offer an opinion as to possible value? Are these mostly just face or small premiums?

Legal Tender Notes

$1 1928F Red seal (1)
$5 1928B Red seal (1)
$5 1928 Red Seal (1)
$5 1928C Red Seal (3
$5 1928D Red Seal (1)
$5 1928E Red Seal (3)

Silver Certificates

$5 1934A Blue Seal (5) One with a serial # G00458231A, is that considered low?
$5 1934A Yellow Seal (2)
$5 1934C Blue Seal (1)
$5 1934D Blue Seal (1)

$1 1957 Blue Seal (2)
$1 1957B Blue Seal (

Most of the notes above have little to no premium (about $1-$3) over face, if they are in average circulated condition.

However, the Yellow seal notes could have values of 10x face or higher, depending on condition.

Pics would be much appreciated!

Here is a scan of the two yellow seal notes. They are just average circulated condition.

The $1 legal tender would be worth around $85-90 in fine but they were only series 1928 and not 1928F.
The two North Africa Emergency notes(Yellow seals) look like they are worth around $35-40 a piece.
The rest look like they would be worth around 2-3x face.

Yes, sorry about that. I did mean a $2 Red seal note, not a $1 note.

You asked about one having a low serial number. The best ones are numbers 1-9 of course and then 10-99 I suppose.

Below is a low numbered note but not as desirable as a more common note like a silver certificate. Low numbers on Nationals are more likely because there were not so many notes produced.
