The only replica type coin I own is one I bought last spring while in London. It was a replica of an English coin from the 1600's. Cost me $1, and I like to fool my friends with it. I always come clean with them after a while, and tell them it's a replica.

Except for that one "coin," I have no interest in owning replicas.

I would buy a copy. I will never be able to afford a 1916-D Mercury for my album or an 1885 or even 1886 Liberty nickel either. I just don't and probably never will have that kind of money to spend on one coin. So if I can get a replica for $10 then why not. I am not too proud to do it, I know my monetary limitations.
