busthalf Pillar of the Community United States 1304 Posts	Posted 11/26/2011 02:42 am I am going to agree with the very fine grade. I don't see much evidence of a wiping done at this time. With the amount of wear on the obverse and the fact that only four letters are showing in liberty gives me the thought of very fine. The amount ware found in the feathers on the reverse also leads me to give this a very fine grade. Report this Post to the Staff

D0ubl3Eagle Pillar of the Community United States 5854 Posts	Posted 11/26/2011 7:27 pm I think this just makes VF-20. It is possible for it to grade VF without a complete liberty. I have seen a few half dollars that were certified as VF-30 and 35 where the E was very weak or missing all together.
