In part of the PCGS Certification Database, the following might appear: "Holder Type: Not Holdered". What does "Not Holdered" signify?

Thanks.

Exactly what it says, it was not placed in a holder. Probably a bodybag or a Genuine but the submitter had instructed them that Genuines were not be returned not slabbed. (yes you can do that)

This is not always the case. I have a Proof 70 Clad Quarter that is marked not holdered- but it is holdered. Sometimes they make mistakes when they enter the information.
