Hello,
is there somebody able to help on India coin sets, below the image of a set of indian coins, I'ld like to be sure it is only a tourist set and not an Indian official mint set.

It seems to be a tourist set, the original mint set has mark of seal and authentication and all that stuff.

It looks like a typical set made for collectors by one of the larger coin dealers at the height of the world coin craze in the 1960's and early 1970's - is that about when the coins date from? I can't see any indication of manufacturer; what's the little red symbol in the top left corner?

Another giveaway that it's not an official set would be the dates - are the coins all of the same date? I don't see any date mentioned on the packaging itself - just that it's a "Type set". The dealers rarely went to the trouble of making up sets with matching dates.

Thanks Thekidcollector and Sap,
about the date 4 coins are 1965, 1 is 1963, 1 is 1962 and 1 is 1966, and as you said Sap, probably also different dates are not so usual in an official mint set.
The simbol on the top left is an "A" in a circle of leaf simbols.
