I have had so much fun, and learned so much on CCF, I have decided to celebrate my 250th Post with a Contest
As my handle implies, I am an Eisenhower dollar Collector...if it has anything to do with IKES, I'm there...Doubled Dies, Clashed IKES, Peg Legs, Railroad rim, Proof Planchet, Friendly Eagle Varieties, 1972-P Type-II, Error or Variety, road-kill, or Proof, I love em all, so, I have decided to give away a 1976-D Type-I Peg Leg Eisenhower dollar to the winner. There are MANY types of Peg Leg Eisenhower dollars to hunt for...some not very hard to find, others extremely rare, like the 1973 & 1974-S Silver Proof Peg Leg, nickname for this is the "Eskimo Boot" Peg Leg(I have a 74-S Clad "Eskimo Boot", in my special prized IKES Dansco Album).
The Peg Leg IKES are broken down into 2 Catagories:
Design Peg Leg & The Die State, Die-Abrasion or Die Polish Peg Legs....the 1976-D T-I Peg Leg the winner will win is considered "Rare", according to the Ikegroup.org website...the 1976-D is a Design Peg leg, but, when polished or abraded, becomes what the group calls "Off-at-the-knees"(OK) Peg Leg...on the winner's IKE, you can clearly see the die polish lines in the field between the top of IKES Hair, and, the bottom of the left arm of the R, indicating either polishing for clash damage, or, abrading to remove a die crack, or, a bit of both.....either way it's a sweet Peg leg.
THE RULES:

So what do you do to win?
Answer 5 questions, all IKE_RELATED, of course...first person to get all 5 correct, wins!
1---What Does "F.E.V." stand for?
2---Who was the Designer of the Obverse & Reverse Eisenhower dollars?
3---Which Discovery Eisenhower dollar did I just find, and, which Third-Party Grading Company is slabbing it now, to be returned next week?
4---What Does "S.P.L." stand for?
5---Which 4 IKES may, or may not have the "Shadow IKE Image" on them?
=================
Please, one guess per day person per day. Also, to participate, make sure you have enough posts per forum rules
=====================
I will be checking at least once a day. The first post displayed with all 5 answers correct is the winner
Good Luck!

Calvin, I only need a 74's clad proof. My Dansco only has one spot for s mints. At some point I may fill in the extra 40%'rs but for now I just need the one. I would be glad to trade if you can give me an idea of what you like other than Ikes. I only have a few extras and they are common circulated I use for the Tooth fairy.

I have an extra 74 proof set you can have, if that works..the IKE has a smidge of toning, but, you can leave it as is, or, clean it up in a snap with a quick dip in coin dip....gald to send it...let me know
