I located my set but I'm not sure I have all the paper work.I would like to know what paper work the set should have to be complete. I'm referring to the OGP the US Mint sold in 2006.

Can anyone give me a $ estimate for this set at current prices? Thank you gasman96

I think it has been selling for $250-350 lately. But I don't follow the pricing on it.

I have my original set in front of me, the components are:

1. Outer slipcover in silver paper with gold foil stamping, marked A10.
2. inner box in silver paper, cover with same gold foil stamping.
3. "Lens cleaner"-type issue paper surrounding the inner box.
4. American Eagle 20th Anniversary Silver Coin set COA.
5. Imitation padded leather top embossed with United States Mint & logo over high quality black plastic box.
6. 3 direct-fit capsules containing 1oz. 2006 Silver Eagles.

The set as complete should run in the range of $300 to $375. Interesting that the Mint went to considerable lengths to give the 20th Anniversary set decent packaging, whereas the 25th set seemed arbitrary and haphazard, and pushed out the door as fast as they could assemble them despite being 2/5ths of the 20th's mintage.

I have always had my original receipt from the mint to verify I actually bought the set - since they can be put together
I think people should offer that with the 06 sets too.

Since the grading companies return you packaging and receipt if asked.... anyone could still make up another opened set with receipt...only a sealed box is guaranteed to be original

I have all the receipts and packaging for my 30+ sets that I had graded...
