Hi I'd like to show you this coin.
When I saw it I was reminded of my trip to Rome, visiting the Vatican museums, the beautiful red porphyry sarcophagus which had been placed after he's death.
I do not usually attract much coins with portraits of women, but considering that it is Constantine I's mother I thought I'd do well to take it.
It isn't so well preserved and centred but I think it's a coin quite rare, at least not common.
Helen is an important personage in the history of the Roman Church is also holy and rising, I put a link if anyone wants to deepen.

The coin is so you can have an idea of the possible image:

Nice coin. My first Roman with a woman on it was a Helena reduced follis, minted in London. As far as women coins go, I only have two: Helena and Aelia Eudoxia (wife of Arcadius). Again nice coin and thanks for sharing.

Interesting woman. I wonder how much the church and history has been kind to her. I have my doubts about her sainthood for sure.

I have been watching for a nice coin of Helena, but the really nice ones seem to go up in price to where I don't think it is worth it. One of these days I will get one for sure. Thanks for sharing your new coin.

Then you own coins of two women that I don't and I think both are hard to come by at a decent price.

Thanks jango and jw for reply,to be honest I myself have serious doubts about his holiness, but we know how the church has made saints all who have encouraged the spread of early Christianity, and Helen was one of them, certainly in the wake of the proclamation of Christianity as the official religion that was operated by costantinus.
jw about the price is right, they are rather expensive coins even if not well preserved, my copy is not nice but I think that at least the portrait to the right is good.
However I was lucky, because I bought this coin with a lot of others, I got a big discount and making accurate accounts I paid it 6.36 euro(8.49$), what do you think?
It seems to me a fair price all things considered.

I think you did very well. And you are correct. The portrait is pretty good considering it is struck off center. I'd be glad to have it in my collection.
