I always get nervous when I win on the first bid. I feel like I made a bad decision. This would be my 1st Half Cent. I noticed some corrosion (verdigris) on the reverse. What do you guys think?

Great pick-up at a hard-to-beat price. Now, you can look for a twelve star 1828 Half Cent to accompany this one.

That's a good coin for the price. And additional Roman coins! Bonus!

I think it has probably been cleaned, but I think the price was OK.

I'm sure it has been cleaned at one point or another. I'm sure almost all coins from the 1800's have been cleaned, wiped, or dipped at one time or another. I figured that I couldn't pass it up at that price.
