VF30 is reasonable, and I think you're looking at a Retained Cud. Very cool.

Your coin has complete visible edges to the LIBERTY band and the eagle's wing feathers are outlined all the way to the wingtips. I think that qualifies the coin as EF. Nice original example!

I think XF too, maybe a bit of strike weakness on the band, but overall it looks XF to me.

If I buy it it is VF but when it come to sell it then it is EF. I think likely a better VF ... too much wear on the eagles upper feather tips, feather shoulders and crest. Liberty band weak. To say EF, which it still could be, I would want to see it in different light and angle, looking for slight luster and wear vrs. strike. There does seem to be some luster. Whatever the grade ... nice lookin' coin. Just my 50 cents worth.
Rest in Peace

this is most likely a weakly struck high grade coin, not a VF/low XF strongly struck coin in my opinion. Look at the hair detail under the band...the band looks weak because of striking. There is not very much wear in the hair. The coin also looks to have shine by has weak wing detail.
