The '84 is Die Deterioration.The '09 looks like it was used as a hockey puck.

Spotting Die Deterioration is a weakness I have for some reason. Just cant get it yet. Have look through so many rolls the past few weeks you think I could pick that up by now. I'm always guessing when I hold that coin and look at it of what it could or could not be because I just dont know enough yet. But still learning everyday something new from this site. On the the 09, your response makes sense.

Buggs: Don't give up on a coin just because of Die Deterioration. It could still be a variety,coppercoins list eight DDO's and a DDR for the '84. Keep looking and good hunting.
