Hoping to get some grades on these two Walking Libertys. I got them today, the 1919 on E-Bay and the 1929-D at the local coin store, I didn't notice the scratch from the sellers pics on the 1919, it doesn't look as bad in hand, but it's there.

A nice pair of Walkers, I especially like the 1919. At VF 20 it is much nicer than my sorry worn example.
Rest in Peace

Thanks for the opinions. I won the 1919 off of E-Bay for $60.00. After I placed my bid I realized that the seller had a no return on the coin. He also had the coin listed as a VF....

The more I got to looking at the coin before I received it I realized that it might not grade a VF but a F. Is the scratch enough to lower the grade on a coin like this?

Instead of jumping the gun and thinking I am getting a VF coin for F price I need to study the pics, even though you cannot see the scratch in his pic, and the listings better and bid what "I" think it is, instead of the seller. Patience is not one of my virtues.

The 1919 is nice and may go VF-20 but I honestly think F15 is the grade.
VF30 on the 29-d.

F-15 on the 1919 and VF-30 on the 1929-D.
