Well I just checked the Hong Kong Gold and silver prices and silver was off a little bit like .02% so I am not sure whats up. gold seems to be higher there right now.

If you are a long time invester There is no reason to be nervous.
The price for silver normally beats inflation ( It's better than putting cash in the mattress).
Besides you may be getting some good coins at a cheaper rate than before

I have just been doing way to good tonight on ebay, all silver, winning 3 auctions for an average 0f almost 20% under melt. I just never had this much luck before.

Yeah, don't count the chicks before they all hatch, as 90% of the bidding takes place in the last 30 seconds too often then not....

I never see silver go for under melt final, minus just UN-apealing examples perhaps....

I am picky an often fork out a bit over premium, as I know it will sell for a bit over an then some later, IF the market moves the right way at the right time....

But then again, I have not searched silver in some time, as I look for gold deals mostly, when I look for PM's....

Oh sweet Yuengling as I live to find deals like that....

My best advice I would leave this world on my stone shall we say....

Four simple stinkin words, that this crazy guy lives by....

Buy low sell high....

I think I am gonna make my own T-shirts an sell on ebay with those four words, and slap a silver eagle on the back, say the size of a dinner plate, he he he, lol. You guys gonna get one, if I waste the time to make, lol....

PM's may all drop a bit in the next few weeks, then when the ECB starts printing money(which should happen before years end) they will take off again. If Europe prints money the US will also have to to keep the dollar low enough to compete for worldwide trade. When that happens,we go to $50 silver and $2000 gold pretty quickly. Any drop now is short term! Also, watch copper closely,it is about to jump significantly.

I think ebay prices are down a little the last couple of weeks as we get near Christmas -- people spending their money elsewhere. I'm holding off on some of my ebay sales until the new year.

It seems when the US Dollar takes a beating then G&S go up. Is this wrong?

I say take your winnings and be happy. Even if silver drops, it won't be 20%, and it won't be for long. You did well, be happy.

Yeah take it and be happy. You can recycle them on Monday if you're concerned. It's probably a combo of sellers moving inventory before the holiday and buyers spending on other gifts. ebay is not always the most efficient marketplace when it cones to items being sold at FMV.

I agree, my auction item sales( coin and non coin related) are a bit off right now. I don't sell any of those MUST have Christmas items for each year. So I am going to take stock and a breather and come out swinging in the new year.

As far as your ebay winning's congrats!

Like others have said and I will voice along with them, I have come across auctions that have been up 7 days and have 3 minutes left and waited to bid until the last minute to be outbid within the last 15 secs. Now I don't regular do this, but it does happen.

Guys I have up for sell an average of about 15 items per week lately on ebay, and I am real lucky to make two sales in a week, mostly on Friday, Sat, and Sundays of course, all my sales, so I feel ya on slower times. I do average 150 bucks a sale, as I don't waste my time on smalls, so when I do make a sell or two, it is usually a higher priced item, so it all works at perfect, keeping me from have to box up an ship so much at the same time, which gets costly via time an money of course. again, Pm's rule for the quick easy shipping an shipping cost....
