Here's another coin I bought. It's a nice triple clipped '64 cent. The seller had it listed as a Clip and Cud.

Am I correct that this is a triple clip?

Photos replaced as per coppercoins request in the 2nd post. (Sellers images.) I'll try to take some new shots tomorrow.

Likely so, although the cut job around the edge of the coin makes me wonder what's going on. How about just a plain, natural image of it?

The main "clip" just doesn't look right to me....weird shape to it, it isn't round

Usually a clip of this size has a distorted shape.

The main clip look real to me based on that I see the Blakesley effect. The other two maybe clips I am not sure about. The one below the bust may be a rim clip but the one by TRUST just doesn't look right to me, but keep in mind that I am far from being a pro.

In hand, they all look like clips. The clip at trust seems to be cut deeper into the reverse than the obverse, but still looks like a clip to me and nothing like a Cud. It's and interesting error coin and didn't cost much, so I'm happy with it.

Thanks for the comments and if anyone has seen a clip like the one at TRUST, let me know.

I'll also get some better photos this week and post them.
