Doug. Funny. I thought they were a good gift when the cost dropped the first time in 2011. Once 204 a better deal and now a steal for what they are.

Dang - 70s sold out? Sounds like a popular coin. Not a bad deal at 249 for an MS70 if your into that thing

They still have some NGC ones, but I dont ever recall the PCGS ones selling out right away like that for the other ones.

250 really is a good deal for those, after the cost of grading the premium is minimal. For whatever reason Ft McHenry started at 329 which seems to be selling slower than they probably thought. In the long run thats probably not a bad price either, just harder to pull the trigger on seeing the others in the 200 range

The Mint's website is showing that the 2013P Great Basin ATB 5oz is on backorder. I guess is this will be the next 2013 puck to sell out.

angel... I'd suggest ordering it sooner than later. With 14k gone in the first 4 days - I suspect this one will sell out over the course of the next couple of weeks.

10 days out of the starting gate, MT RSM-P sold 17,046 pucks already. Looks like it will be headed for a sell out at max if the Mint doesn't short sell this puck.

Edit - Just picked up my pair of uncirculated pucks from the PO. Really stellar, gorgeous looking coins, the design really explodes across the surface. Joseph Menna is rapidly becoming one of my favorite Mint artists. Even though it comes from a historic photograph of site, the final coin image is well balanced and well executed. It would be nice to see this coin sell out to its maximum mintage. Good job, US Mint! Can't wait for Tennessee/Gt Smokey Mtns, and hopefully not have to wait until the middle of next May, please.

It will be interesting to see how many Mt Rushmore 5 ounce they made to start with. I am inclined to believe they made the whole 25k and once they are gone they are gone... over 17,000 solde so far an not once into backorder status.

My initial guess was they'd put out around 20k. With how fast they're selling I'm inclined to think they'll keep making them to the max mintage as long as they keep selling.

Given that we're already in the 2013-14 fiscal year, the sellouts are not surprising. Perry should go soon as well, perhaps 18K. McHenry and Rushmore 20 or 21K like White Mountain. Mint is erring on the side of conservative mintages these past two years. The silver pucks are generally not going to be on sale deep into the next year.

As of the most recent sales report just published , sales for the Great Basin silver coins have reached 17,774 units. This figure is below the stated maximum mintage of 25,000 units. It is also below the last reported sales amount for the previously sold out White Mountain coins at 20,536 units.

The three remaining available 2013 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins have reached sales of 17,632 (Perry's Victory), 18,674 (Fort McHenry), and 17,048 (Mount Rushmore).
