The Mint has the Perry puck on back order. Chances are this will be "sold out" within a week.

I just ordered a P-Rushmore and a 2013 uncirculated dollar set fromint. The dollar set is on backorder but the Rushmore says in stock and reserved. I'm not a huge fan of the P version of these coins, I have almost all the bullion versions since they came out, and only have 2 P versions. The Rushmore will be my 3rd P. I thought it may be a good idea to have the Rushmore in both versions, since it will probably be the most well known place of all the coins to come out so far.

The bullion issues for Ft. McHenry and Mt.Rushmore sold out at 30,000 and 35,000 coins to the APs. It should be available from the APs and other PM dealers for some time to come. It just means they can't reorder from the Mint when they run out. The replacement cost might be greater than what the Mint was charging as what happened with some of 2012 5oz. bullion

With the Sales of the Mt. Rushmore would not surprise me... Did anyone else notice the "First Ever Black Friday and Cyber Week sales" banner on the mint site? Wonder what that will be... Free shipping? OR some sales on last years stuff they want to blow out

The most recent sales report published last week shows sales of the Perry's Victory design at 17,632. The preliminary data for this week, which can sometimes be adjusted, shows sales of 17,934.

The Black Friday sale will probably just be free shipping again.........

Just a note on the numbers...

McHenry is at 19,133 and counting (20k limit?)
Rushmore is at 19,449... as of the 24th.

Kind of strange to set the limits to 25,000 this year and then have the sell outs after a few months. I am expecting a run on these over the next week or so as people start to realize they are fading quickly.

If any of them were going to be minted to the real limit it'd be rushmore and mchenry. It seems the mint just doesn't want to be left melting these down like they've had to in years past. Those are the only two and maybe only rushmore where I could see enough sales in the last month to justify putting more out.

angel - you can go to the mints website and in the about section they have added the numbers.

basebal - agreed. Not sure on the McHenry if they did the full 25k or not though - I am leaning toward 20k - I am guessing the backorder flag will either go up on it in the next week or so - or the sold out.

Doug that would be my guess too that they just minted the standard amount for all of them and then it's just a question of if they want to do more or not.

Then again there's also the chance they really don't make much money off those and it wouldn't be worth it to them to do any extra regardless of how they sell.

The sold out would make it easier for me, just buy the remaining two..... hehehehe.
Any funding left will be divert toward the bullion version.

Also, keep an eye on other coins/series as the Mint tend to do more "sudden sold-out" the last 2 years.
