The rolling sellouts are good for the series, McHenry and Rushmore might be as much as 22K. It's a real push to get to the full maximum and they've been mostly conservative on inventory since 2011 overproduction.

basebal...I made that mistake before as well. 2 or more upgrades to 2 day shipping, but you still pay $4.95.

I am not sure I'd worry about a sell out by Friday...but I also would hate to miss a purchase because I went cheap and wanted to save on shipping. :)

Yes it is the 4.95 no matter how much you order. If the total order is over $300 it is 2 day shipping. I always order over the phone but I assume the same for on line

Ok, so has anyone been paying attention to the Fort McHenry bullion sales? I was reading over on Mint News blog and there are several posts about the price these are getting on the bay.... people are paying $1700 for MS69 bullions... I must have been wrong completely wrong and this is the best bullion coin in 2013..

69DMPL's are selling for 4 figures...regular 69's and raw coins are normally priced (raw $112, PCGS FS69 $233)

PCGS created "rarity"...

Love those DMPL Morgans...SF was great for those

I just have a thing against PCGS and their "create a rarity" habit (yes, my opinion). The process for producing these pucks is basically the same from coin to coin...same mint, same process, same delivery etc.

So one would think the grades from each type would be in line +/- a bit.

2013 White Mtn had around 720 graded...672 were DMPL 69's (highest grade given)..pretty high percentage

Perry's 620 graded/530 DMPL 69's

Great Basin around 620/286 DMPL's (decrease noted)

Ft McHenry: 500/110 DMPL69's (down to less than 20%) still early on this one (but the only 70 grade of the whole THREE YEARS OF SUBMISSIONS)

Why the decrease? Same process, same coin but only a different design...should be in the same ballpark at least

Create an inflated price for the dmpl's and stimulate more submissions from those collectors hoping for the Holy Grail of DMPLS's...sorry, not buying it...the cynic in me speaking

While the basic process is the same the results arent. The mint has been wildly inconsistent with quality by their standards lately. The Denver commemorative half was terrible quality compared to its peers as was the 2012 ASE set, yet SF makes high quality coins overall.

It could be as simple as they rush the later releases. The numbers you posted showed a declining trend, it didnt exactly come out of no where.

It could also just be that pcgs felt they were being to lenient with it and adjusted.

It also has to be considered theres a part of the design that is holding some of them back.

Given my recent experencies with mint order from the general half having bag marks to my 2013 mint set having to be returned 6 times for one without scratches or glue on the coins I have no problem believing they missed on something. My mint set debacle got to the point where I had to order 10 pick out a good one and return the rest.

Well likely see the price come down just like the ms70 general half price got cut in half when people stop trying to be the first ones to get it
