tkflex36 - I do the exact same thing. I keep a running list of items that I would like to purchase and a price I am willing to pay. For items that I am willing to wait some time to acquire I have been able to score some very, VERY good deals. It can take 6 months or more but it is well worth the wait. Sometimes! :)

I figured there had to be people using this method. I think I will continue this to try and get the other 3 coins I'm missing for the ATB series. Even if it's a slow go. And since I don't mind whether they are P pucks or not should make it alittle easier. As long as they are graded in making offers!!

Anyone going to subscribe to the Mint's 10% off plan? The ATB's are included, instead of $154.95, they'd be $139.45 per coin.

Markets heading much higher, precious metals going in the direction of that Johnny Cash song Ring of Fire: "down, down, down".

I don't know anything about this subscription plan. Anybody know of any drawbacks of the program? Looks too good to be true.

Anyway, Happy Holidays!

I've had subscriptions for ASE's (W's and PF's)for many years and added the 5 ounce pucks a couple of years ago. This will save me over $200/yr
I'll take it....

I think for the 5 ounce coins the subscription might work out very well. I had subscriptions last year to many offerings and got burned when they all were released in the same month and the mint didn't do any combined shipping. That left me paying for each subscription charge as well as shipping for each. (not to mention the silver proof set - where all the subscriptions got shipped - then they cut the price).

I'll have to look over the release schedule again and see if any other products warrant a subscription and the discount - or if the shipping charges will defeat the purpose anyway if I combined them all on a single purchase. It would help is the mint just charged a 1 time shipping fee for all subscribed products. If I subscribe by December 31st - all products would ship at for a single shipping fee and a 10% reduction... now they'd have a winner.

There is a discount if you sign up for a subscription? I didn't realize that. I just recall some not liking the shipping and that the mint didn't combine items. Merry Christmas to all that celebrate!!

If you are going to buy all of these silver products or just the pucks from the mint, it would be foolish not to take advantage of this discount. I haven't signed up yet but I will be. I had subscriptions before, but with all of the price changing and shipping charges I dropped them. I will be back on board next year. Happy New Year!

I signed up over the phone but I read in a comments section on another site that they had to sign up individual 5 oz coins. I find that a bit over the top. I have never done a subscription before but it appears on my email that I have 1 signup. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks
