ACLOCO..That does not always mean a perfect coin...be careful, if you sell on ebay..even with "No Returns", and, a buyer finds a scrape or major ding, they can open a case...you lose every time, as ebay refunds the buyer, then, BILLS you..isn't THAT special! Oh, don't forget, Paypal will freeze your account, until you pay up...it can get really ugly......then, there's the "swappers"....pro's who KNOW all of the above...and, keep your awesome coins, and, mail back their 2nds....ain't nuttin you can do about that either....The value "unopened"...vs. opened is not that far off...personally, I would open them, and hunt for the super rare Satin Finish Coins...you wouldn't want to "give" those away...and, photo's of each coin would prevent coin swap, for the most part(HINT: make, and keep your own private photo's...and, put that in the listing that every coin is documented--think of this as a "Danger..Guard Dogs on Premise" sign for high end listings.

I sell a decent amount on ebay...mostly graded ASE's and pucks. I also have sent a decent amount of ASE's and pucks to be graded..ASE's to NGC and pucks to PCGS (better holder)

I have found that getting ASE's graded for potential resale is a net negative. The only ones that cover your costs are the 70's and if you do not get a high percentage of those back you are toast. If I am buying the 70's it is more practical to just buy them already graded and save the effort.

I DO send the special sets for grading (SF, WP, HOF, 20th, 25th etc.) since they do seem to be a net positive because of restricted mintage (most anyway)

I do NOT send the P pucks anymore. I have some perfect looking specimens but I like them the way they are and it costs quite a bit to submit.

RE: ebay "no returns"....it IS bogus and ebay will side with the buyer and refund the cash.

RE: "take a pic of the coin/box before selling"...that has to be done to sell the coin and the pic is visible to all looking at the auction. I have no clue where they would stand on a sealed box return but they USUALLY side with the seller....

I wonder what will happen with any expedited shipping if subscriptions are shipped this week since they say for orders placed June 23 to June 29. Just wondering if it includes previous orders shipped this week as well. Thanks. Anyone receive the P Arches yet?

When I started this thread with a simple question I didn't think it would have over 2000 replies :)
I just checked my account and it says my puck was scheduled to be shipped today. The odd thing is I typically receive an email first letting me know it has been shipped. No email this time? If it is actually shipped today then I should have it by Thursday.

The Mint is very careful now after the Gettysburg/Glacier bullion debacle in which they minted the full max of 126,500 coins at one time and were stuck with them in inventory for over a year and those only finally sold out to the APs nearly at melt. Like the uncirculated coins, the bullion is minted 20K at a time. The same situation happened with GSM in late April, sold out temporarily.
