Here's my special request...for some enthusiast who's good at spreadsheets...what is the spot to premium spread on the history of ATBs? That would be a sweet contribution.

I assume you are referring to P pucks...
..that would be a load of data collecting since spot changes on a daily basis and the price of the coin remains constant (by issue). Too much for my little brain....

You also have to bear in mind that multiple price changes occurred for the P pucks in line with falling spot. This would complicate the matter even further.

Yup, I remember the $249.95 P puck VERY well...and the discounted $134 one also Re: mintages...if you want a cumulative mintage on the bullion pucks you can them right from the Mint website Go to USMint.gov ...click on "about" ..."production sales figures" ...bullion sales mintage ...select " ATB silver" as the program and 2010 as the year You will get the totals for all bullion pucks to date |

That's a good list, @Foxwoods, thanks. Oh and I have very similar memories as you of the 2010 pucks. Glad I have them but would rather have paid the ~$150 prices!
@Clint, are you talking about a spreadsheet showing all P Pucks with the issue price vs. the spot price at the time of issue or a graph over time of the issue price vs. spot price?

It was just a fancy. Whatever would make sense to someone familiar with spreadsheets and would find value in the effort. You know, like while waiting for that next issue ;)

The 2015 schedule is up on the mint site. No actual dates for the 5 oz, but the month of issue. Most all items had that pricing hadn't been determined yet so keeping my fingers crossed for some decreases in cost of items.

Also, the first 3 issues of 2014 aren't avail for sale anymore. Both less than 30,000. If still on the fence on the Everglades, it may be time to buy; who knows if they will be pulled from avail for sale as well before max issued is reached.

I'd still like to see them drop the price a bit, especially before the 2015 issues are released. Ag has been languishing in the 15-16-17 range for months now it seems.

I'll tell you one thing, I'm not going to buy my Everglades PCGS SP70 until next year..very few have been listed on ebay, and, the prices are out of whack..GSD, and Arches SP70 FS can be had for 199, so, it's just a waiting game for my Everglades to fill the 2014 slots in registry..I should grab a raw one from the mint, but, again, will wait till price drops. My investments in the Bullion Versions(I bought enough to make 8 complete 5 coin sets of PCGS MS69 FS DMPL, for resale), is a waiting game now too, since Ag is so low..on paper, I've "lost" money, but, it WILL turnaround...it always does, at some point. |

If the Everglade's price drop to around $130ish I'm sure the sale number will jump. I'll be jumping on it for sure. Crossing my finger.

So does everyone think that the mint will be dropping the prices on the pucks in 2015? If so, will they wait until the next puck release? Any thoughts?

I would think the price will fall with future issues....Everglades most likely will hang at the present price since the next one isn't due until April..
