You're welcome. Generally, I have not found the premiums on bullion products at brick & mortar LCS to be anywhere competitive with the mail order APs. Prior to the opening up of the interwebs I had a collection that was underwhelming and very likely was cleaned or otherwise overpaid for inferior material through the dozen or so LCS that existed in my town at the time. The majority went out of business because of the quality of the items on web and they could no longer sell inferior items at inflated prices because they were no longer the only game in town. Thanks to the web, prices have gone down for average and above average material across the board and there is a great deal more fair play available now than with the LCS that went out of business. Those LCS that survived to this day have valued customer loyalty and fair dealing. Ironically there's only one LCS left in town and that dealer is well into his 70's now and he has a very limited supply of bullion (what customers bring him) and has never had a bullion puck for sale.

The above comment was directed primarily at angel as she doesn't seem to trust web based Internet businesses other than the US Mint, which I find unfortunate as it limits the type of numismatic and bullion based material you can buy for your collecting or stacking needs. Many of the Internet businesses do not have physical storefronts. Rent or leases for commercial space is the highest overhead cost for brick and mortar stores after salaries of paid and contract staff. By immediate delivery with mail order bullion I generally mean it to have a 14 calendar day turn around. The TR pucks are too far out to buy a roll of 10, physical delivery is 35 days, and like you've said only buy now if silver is languishing under $15 or is on the move upwards. It dropped nearly 75c per oz yesterday, so no deal yet.

Also I can't think of much I would buy and pay for that far in advance. I guess it is to hold the price but as all know we never know about that. And I recall a company last year I think that was taking orders and not fullfilling for very long periods. Just the chance to take that a company will do as it says. I know these companies have been around but I just prefer to pay upon receipt or at least shipment

I have bought many rolls of ATB pucks mainly through JMBullion. I've always paid with a check but I do have the option of using an e-check to get the coins faster but I like paper check better for records. I just send it in a priority envelope for $5 and they get it in a day or two and I get the coins in a week or two. Easy peasy

Thank you for proving my point, all, that e-commerce has made the trading of physical precious metals relatively painless. I get angel's position of not trusting the Internet with horror stories of the famous AP last year that held on customer funds with no actual bullion in its vaults or getting shorted by paper efts, but these are far from the mainstream activity of the recognized and legitimate APs. My point is even for someone like angel who does not buy mail order, the Internet has leveled the playing field by winnowing profit driven only LCS and dealers overcharging for overpriced junk by putting them out of business. It has left only those dealers willing to deal fairly, honestly and with integrity. Doing shady business today on the Internet is a risky endeavor, IMO. News of bad apples can spread like wildfire and some company's previous hard earned sterling reputation can in be tatters within a week. This discussion has pretty much gone off topic, but I will say bullion puck buyers either like to stack shiny plates of metal or as a hedge against a fiat based economy and the resultant rise of inflation. However you spend your dollars with mail order or at the LCS, that trading world is far different place than say 25 years ago when there were far limited options.

There may be some lesser premiums since spot has increased quite a bit rather fast. I noticed that happen back a few yrs ago when silver climbed high quickly. Dealers may have purchased while lower thus still are making $$ plus moving inventory
