And why didn't they offer this deal when silver was at $14/ounce?! I wonder...hmmm....
Guessing they have a fairly large stockpile they're trying to move.

That or maybe a higher premium to get the coins when spot was that low.

The lower the spot price the higher the premium generally applies. Back in day when silver was $5.50/oz, an ASE cost between $9-$9.50 postpaid or about $10 from the LCS. Back in the 90's they were fairly scarce and unusual items. Not like today. Probably as good a time as any to pull plug on the TR puck today. Silver seems to have stablized at $19-$20. |

Reading through a CoinNews article, I see that the Harpers P-Puck had sales change of -1,315 coins (-7.84%) since last week. So either there was/is some bad data, or there were a LOT of returns.  There's plenty of time left for this puck but at this rate it is not going to get anywhere near the 30k max. |

Btw, someone please recap on these TR pucks info:
1) P-mint mintage number? Release date?
2) Bullion mintage number?
Also, how many are you guys planning to buy, of each version?

The mintage number for the TR puck (so far) should be the same as every other puck...135k total which USUALLY splits to 105k bullion and 30k P....but most P's never get to that 30k number and the recent Harper's Ferry bullion is screeching to a halt at around a low of 35k
All bets are off for the TR though...both versions could max out (less of a chance with the P but still possible)

I can't afford to load up on these, but will try to order at least 1 or 2 total.
Btw, so the demand for Harper's Ferry bullion seemed to be at the 'average level' of this series?

I may be in the minority here but I don't see an ordering frenzy for the TR puck. Yes, it's a nice looking product but it will most likely be the highest mintage of this year's pucks.
I will get a P puck but not on my "get a tube" list
...and FYI: Harper's Ferry bullion puck looks to be the lowest mintage of the last eight pucks
Shawnee.. 105k
Cumberland..75k
HF...a tad over 35k
Closest would be the 1st issue of 2015 (Homestead) at 35k

I have never purchased one of the 5 ounce coins but the TR release might prove hard to resist.
