I only own one of these ATB 5oz.
I picked up the Hawaii bullion version.
I wish I had picked up more.

The most valuable of them all. Aside from the P version Hawaii.

Welcome KCSO, if you are the contributor that started as Keep Calm & Stack On over at MNB, you are very welcome here! Your insights and stimulating commentary on that blog has always been spot on.

My my, I haven't contributed here in nearly three months. The puck series as a whole has matured for me, there are only 46 left (we think) of the TR-P puck, yet I am nowhere near on pulling the trigger than I was a month ago when the coin debuted. It will probably be the highest of P's for the year, and I wouldn't be shocked if the Mint comes out with another batch of 2-3K as a December Christmas surprise for those who want one or more to give as gifts for the holidays. Dec 8th is the debut for the Moultrie-P so I'll pair them together then if the TR-P is still available.

Not all that excited about the 2017 designs especially with the lead off "animal crackers" Mounds design someone so correctly mocked on another blog. Followed by three more people oriented designs. The best for the year seems to be the water mill of Ozarks and that unfortunately isn't saying much for the US coins of 2017 at all. Rather a meh year coming up, with only the 225th Mint anniversary that's reasonably exciting.

Keep an eye on the numbers of the next puck (Moultrie). Remember hey can't strike more after 12/31 which is only 3 weeks after the issue date. Whatever the initial quantity is that will be it.

@ATB: I highly doubt they will make that few Moutrie quarters 1.6M/4M is extremely low and I suspect those are preliminary figures from September only. There's six weeks left to the year, enough time for both the P&Ds to get to a 100M each once the Oct/Nov & Dec. numbers are in. But FM is right this blog is about the 5oz silver "quarter" not the circulating ones. There's probably a blog on the main US coins page that discusses the quarters, FYI.

Back on topic, the US Mint Christmas catalogue got released today and gosh darn it, wouldn't you know the TR-P puck is back to full inventory strength? My prediction was for it end around 22K, similar numbers to the Rushmore/SD-P as they make a pretty good pairing even if TR is not shown explicitly on the Rushmore design. I may still get two of the TR-P.

That's something I didn't realize! I did get the Mount Rushmore coin the year they were offered plus the Teddy Roosevelt is this yrs choice for the gift. We have visited both of these parks so a great pick for me!

The cabinet is very nice, but the folders seem more portable.
