Harper's Ferry numbers increased by only 96 last week...now at 18,632.

Should be getting close to a countdown but still over 100 left which means it will go right by the Cumb Gap number. Still a tad less than a few hundred to get past teddy but I think it will be gone before then.

According to MCM, the first 2017 ATB bullion, Effigy Mounds, will be available Feb 06. We should see pre-sales starting pretty soon.

Hard to get excited about the bullion animal cracker puck. I will pick up a P puck when they come out because I have to to keep the series current :)

Well, there's one thing the Effigy Mounds puck has going for it... it may have a real chance at being the lowest mintage of the series.

Indeed. I'm just glad it won't be $280.

I don't know if you mean the bullion or P version but design or popularity of the subject is not a factor in mintage...if you meant the P puck it will just translate into a longer sales period. They now seem to mint right around the same number of each

I agree with Foxwoods, the final mintage will probably end up being in the low 18s.

The thing about the first few issues is that it seems they remain for sale a bit longer or so it seems. I'm sure I will be wrong! Not my favorite for the year. Not crazy about any really. Have to figure which will be the Christmas gift!

We finally reached the countdown period for Harpers Ferry - 98 left. Once these are gone I very much doubt it will come back on sale.

Hmmm...that Ft. Moultrie looks pretty low. Like low for the last 2+ years

I would think they wouldn't have any more stock on hand and have moved on to the next issue.

You are probably correct in your thinking. Compared to the last mintage update, Fort Moultrie moved up by only 100 coins. I am sure they are done minting 2016 ATB bullion. The 2017 ATB bullion is already there, but it has not been updated yet.

Thanks for that info, omxfl! I'm sticking that into my spreadsheet as we speak.

With the prices of silver at the end of the year (and current) I'm a bit surprised that Moultrie bullion is so low. There are certainly more economical (and more attractive) choices, but still...
