Not a bad price considering. Wish they could make an all clear plastic holder with minimal lettering that was easy to store, about 4" square. The NGC holders are about the size of dinner plates. The technology is there to laser engrave the label information directly onto the holder. Until they do so with these, I am foreswearing the graded ones. I'm sure there is an elegant and economical alternative to the plaques NGC is creating.

Yeah, the NGC size is crazy, but it's also crazy PCGS doesn't make theirs able to see the edge of the coin. I don't see any problem with storage either way, so it's merely an aesthetic of plastic we're dealing with, here. In some weird way, I kind of like holding the big NGC dinner plate. Anyhow, I'm very impressed with the QC on this series, so I like 'em from the mint, NGC or PCGS...doesn't matter to me. Each one I've gotten is beautiful!

Id love to see a picture of someone actually eating their dinner off the NGC slab.

But I agree the quality on these have been fantastic, the price not so much

I personally don't care for the NGC dinner plates.....something about the first strike flag on the PCGS slabs kind of grabs me. Plus they are a little smaller. Most of my pucks are either from the mint or bullion in the air-tite coin holders.

I'm these specials are offered from time to time, they are not exactly the most desired things right now.

Anybody get their Denali bullion coin yet? The collector coin goes on sale Monday, 11/5, but for $229.95, there's no appreciable hurry on that one.

I haven't been online much since we lost power for 2 days from Sandy. We are very lucky. Hope anyone affected by Sandy is doing better. Prayers for all that have had storm damage or power outages.
