I received my Perry P Puck (the PPP)over the weekend, looks very nice, I'm happy with it. I haven't received my bullion puck yet so I can't compare the two. I liked the WM P puck better than the bullion version, but I liked the proof version of the WM on a standard quarter the best out of the 3. I wish they would do some frosting highlights on the bullion version to make them look more like the standard quarter proof coins.

Provident hasn't sent out the Perry bullion yet? I got my pair from APMEX on Saturday, they shipped from OKC on Weds. Here's a new wallet stretcher: APMEX just put up #18 Great Basin a few days early for pre-order for July 5th delivery. Really like this design looking forward to next week's release of the P puck on the 27th. Expensive month.

Yep, ordered my pair this afternoon, so it's back to pork and beans for the rest of the month. Silver seems to be trending downwards, much cheaper than the White Mountain coins of just a month ago, and a few dollars cheaper than the Perry's. Hope Ag holds steady for Fort McHenry in two months time.

I got my Perry from the mint today - absolutely perfect. I am impressed considering the fields on it... but it is pristine!

Quick question: Which retailer are you guys buying your 2013 ATB bullion from and how much (shipped) do you pay for each coin? I am seriously considering getting one of each. I not too concern about the silver spot price (not gonna go up until probably September), but I am concern the may become unavailable because it seemed many people like the design and quality of these coins..... OR should I just delay and get a couple designs at one to save on shipping cost? Any input?

Bruce, if you are not in hurry you could wait for Provident to presale the third coin of year, Great Basin, probably by this weekend or next Monday. They've lowered the premium to $17.50 per coin, and you could probably get all three for +/-$380 plus $12.95 shipping. APMEX is around $22.50 per coin plus spot, any order over $200 is a stiff $19.95 for shipping, but they are authorized purchaser of the Mint, so they will receive the newest coins first and ship out quicker than Provident. Despite the delays and the usual lack of inventory with Provident Metals, I recommend them over APMEX. I wouldn't wait until all five designs are out because of short sales as what happened last year, but you could get three within the next week.

I have used Provident to buy the bullion. They are not quick shipping or stocking, but some of the coins I have got there are darn near proof like. Price is as noted - less than most others. I've taken advantage of the drop in silver and started to go back and fill in some of the blanks I have as well.

Thanks Bizy.
Very good information.
I agree on the lack of inventory and slow in shipment of Provident (I have bought from them) but that's not really my priority (get the most/best looking silver for my $$$ is my main priority right now).

Hey Bizy, any comments on the Perry bullion coins you received from APMEX? I finally received word from Provident they they have shipped my Perry puck, but I still haven't received it. Just wondering how you thought they looked.

You guys/gals see the mint has TBD on the price and release date for the great basin puck. You think they are lowering the price? That would definitely make me a buyer from the mint on this coin. I have got 10 out of the 14 none bought from mint yet. They come down alittle on price I'm definitely in, plus I think the G.B coin is gonna look good frosted. And I like the pucks both ways. When was it suspossed to be released?

Good catch on the "TBD" it' WAS supposed to be released this Thursday the 27th. Usually if there is a pricing change on the silver product it gets announced in the Federal Register beforehand. So it "could" drop another $25 to $154.95 which would be pretty sweet. Just ordered the WM and PV pucks, looks like there might be a return on those... :) @Teach: the PV's from APMEX are just as well done as the White Mountains I got from them In May. The WM's are now my benchmark for what near perfect bullion ATB coin should look like: flawless fields, deep watery mirrors and slight frosting on the devices, with minimal contact and slide marks. By that measure If WM = 100, the two PV's were 98 & 90. The second coin had slightly better mirrors but included a curved scratch near the date. Still a keeper and I was really pleased with both. Will be interesting to hear your comments when you get your PV coin from Provident. I'll probably order a third Perry and Great Basin from them next month given how cheap they are from just 6 months ago.

My guess is theyre going to hold it while silver is bouncing around the 20 mark till it gets a little separation one way or another and its price movements per day get smaller

Anyone got their Great Basin coin yet? Any pictures of the 2013 coins?
At current price, the series attracted me more now......
Btw, does any members on here still need 2010 set (bullion version) or the Hot Spring & Yosemite P-version?
