I think the numbers are very good for where we are in the calendar. 16,207 and 11,398 sold respectively of 25,000 total is about right. You would think there would be a run on the coins even though they have just shed $25 each, sometimes the psychology works in reverse. Some collectors are waiting until the Great Basin coin appears for sale on July 25th so they can pick up all three 2013 coins together and save on shipping. Others might wait as see if silver goes even lower to under $15, which is the next price reduction tier. Still others have summer activities with family that prevent them from actively working on their coin collections, traditionally summer is a very slow time for coin sales.

Silver and Gold are on the move.... they are inching up. I hope I can get some (in a few weeks or so) before any upward price adjustment kick in.....

Don't order the new Great Basin puck today from the mint or any coins for that matter from the mint today. They are having a free shipping special that starts tomorrow at 9 AM, so wait until tomorrow to place any orders.
This free shipping might get more people to buy coins now then wait and try to bundle purchases to save on the shipping.

Yeah - I held off getting the GB coin today. Too bad there aren't a lot of mint offerings I am looking to buy right now - free shipping is a nice change. The offer lasts until September 10th.

The mint kind of screwed people with subscriptions for this coin because they would have had to pay shipping yesterday. It just does not pay to have a subscription at the mint any longer.

Just ordered the new Great Basin puck from the mint. Hard to believe I am only paying $154.95 for a puck with free shipping. It is a far cry from what I used to pay for these things.

@Teach - no kidding. I feel like a heel for paying $280 for Hot Springs. Oh well...

Anybody order a Great Basin-P yet? Or has everyone lost interest since they're so cheap now? :) The perennial storage issue: has anyone tried the Book of Silver for the 5oz coins? $24 direct from the website and $2 cheaper per book from JP's Corner. I'd be interested if they would make a book for proof ASEs in the gov't holder. http://www.bookofsilver.com/

I ordered my GB the 1st day of free shipping and it has shipped - I expect it in a day or 2. I am not sure I'd refer to $154.95 as cheap...

$1,800.00 is not cheap, but $154.95 is considering the ton of people that bought any of the first five releases at $279.95 each. So the lowered pricing might have deterred additional sales since the first coins are now 'worth' about half of once were, although the resale value of those are not quite as bad as that. The irony is the first three P coins are the highest mintage for type and might be for some time to come if the mint sticks to the 25K max per design.

@Bizy - I did the same as Doug58s and ordered the first day for free shipping, should be showing up any day now. I'm not giving up on this series yet. I spent all of this $ on the first coins, might as well keep going. The prices seem like a steal right now. I checked out the book of silver for the 5 oz. coins, I like how it states that the coins and capsules are not included.... I thought for sure they would be for that price of $24....haha.

Got my GB today... absolutely perfect. @Bizy - not sure on the 1st sets of these - I didn't have the cash to buy those and probably still don't. I plan on buying them as they go down in price - I like how they look and the designs are pretty interesting to me.

Thank you Bizybackson for the info on the storage options for these.
When business start to come up with storage/display solutions/accessories for a series then that just show that there's a market for the series and such support will help carry the series in the long run.
I am debating btw getting these or the Reverse Proof Buffalo 1oz Gold........ humh........

@Bruce, my money's on the RP Buffalo. It looks to be THE COIN of 2013 to get, as the mass marketers will buy up a huge percentage of the sales and corner the market on this RP. Has the potential to double in price within a few months of release, look at the trends for the 2009 UHR $20. It's almost a sure bet that this coin will be a winner in the short and long term.
