Ok I decided to take a chance on this lot of uncleaned coins. There are other lots on the bay right now that show they are high grade, but hey appear to be common coins. This lot was dug in Britain, so I am hoping that there may be a few rarer mints and emperors here. I will let you guys know the results once it comes in later this month!

What do you think?

I just took a look at the link. Hopefully they will turn out to be good ones. Keep us informed. We'll be watching for it.

To you maybe - but not for most of the world, this is a great deal in the UK, I would expect to pay twice that on average for this lot.

You and our other Balkan members need to help us work out how to get in on some of the deals in Eastern Europe

I looked up some uncleaned lot prices and most seemed at least $2 per coin.

An idea came to mind:
If (and only if) t0rress was willing, he could show us a lot he has found as he already occasionally does and then sells it to one of us! Of course, we would pay him more than what he got it for as compensation for his time and thanks.

This is the key - I would certainly be interested in the good prices but fear one or both of us could end up on the wrong side of the law if we weren't very careful!
