I am watching an item on ebay, and when I click to see if the seller has any other items for sale it say's he has nothing. Even the item that I am watching, does not show up.

I am just wondering if anyone else has this problem?

Are you using the mobile app? If so go to settings and change the country to the country of the seller... This is a stupid feature of the app, even when you specify a 'worldwide' search it still only searches throught the country selected in the options. I haven't found a similar setting on the www version, but then again haven't looked to hard either.
On my iPhone I have to run my saved searches several times, selecting different countries each time, not very clever ebay!

I am just using Google Chrome. This happens a lot.

I will look through the settings though. (If I can find them)

Probably under your account settings somewhere, I use chrome at home but havent been there for awhile. Will be back there in the next 24hrs and will check back and give more details if you haven't found it by them.
Cheers

ebay search has never worked right. One time I was following an item that consistently had 3-5 listed every hour, by different sellers, 24/7.

One time I sorted it by times, and there was a 40 hour gap with none listed. Astronomical odds.

Ok, have had a play (using chrome browser, but should be the same no matter which browser you are using) now that I am back at home and have found that there is not a similar setting as there is on the mobile application - actually I have discovered quite a few nice little things on the mobile app that the web site does not do, how very frustrating!

So, the only way I have been able to "solve" this issue is to log in to the ebay site that your seller has listed to, and then switch between the different sites for your searches (I often have several pages open at the same time for different sites).

For example, if you log into ebay.com and search for seller:fred (fictional name, apologize if there is actually a fred user on ebay!) and get no hits but you are watching an item of his, look at the location of the item, let's say it is the US - log into ebay.com (same login details work on all ebay sites worldwide) and repeat the search and hey presto, there they are!

This is a stupid "feature" as you can search for ebay item numbers from other country sites from a different county site and find them no problems, so I cannot see why the seller search should be different (explanatory note, 25+ years in the technology industry with experience in 20+ countries - so I think I am qualified to speak on this).

Anyone work for ebay here? take some notes... of better still , pay my ridiculous daily rates and I will come and show you how to fix this and many of your other "features"

I like the time they lost millions of users' blocked bidders files, then tried to blame the users for not keeping backups.
