SO BEAR WITH ME AND I WILL START POSTING. THE SPEED OF MY TYPING IS WHY E-BAY HAS BEEN RATHER DIFFICULT TO SELL MY COLLCTION ON. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS OF HOW TO SELL THESE COINS.

Hi Busthalf
Good to have you here with us !!
were a patient bunch so dont worry about the speed of your typing,, the posts although are added instantly there is no requirement for how long it takes to type your response.
Perhaps you can tell us a little about your collection and how long you have been a collector,, as well as add your knowledge to the questions that are asked ,,50 posts go by pretty quickly .

MY COLLECTION IS LARGE, OVER 2800 COINS FROM Half Cents TO SACS. I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING FOR ABOUT 10-12 YEARS. I STARTED WITH A DANSCO ALBUM FOR EACH DENOMINATION, BUT THAT WAS JUST TO MUCH FOR ME. I WAS A PRACTICING DENTIST FOR 10 YEARS BUT THE MS CUT THAT SHORT. I UNLOADED THE ALBUMS AND SOLD THOSE EMPTY. NOW I HAVE ALLOT OF RED BOXES FILLED WITH 2X2'S.

I suggest you join numerous coin forums and check to see if they have a buy and sell section. As a general rule most of the people on these coin forums are basically nice people and I would trust many of them before a coin store, coin shop, ebay, etc. For example there are places like this one, PCGS web site, NGC forums, coin people, another forum, etc. Unless your in a hurry, keep contacting people on these forums, let them know what you have, get an idea of what you want for them and I'm sure someone will make you an offer for all or some of your collection.

Oh one more thing is you may want to try typing in coin clubs and your state in the search area of the net. You may find a club of people right in your area that are trustworthy, honest and mostly you may acquire some new great freinds.

Just take your time and keep in touch, and don't worry, I read slow.
