The smallest one is a Japanese Occupation Note that was issued for the Philippines during WWII. They sell for less than five bucks on ebay.

I would say $5 is quite high for a centavo note. I collect invasion money from the Philippines and the centavos sell for between 25 cents and a couple bucks depending on condition and the block letters. If that is a P/BV it is a scarcer one and would be on the higher side.

Thank you vic and merc...I looked up "P/BV" and came up with nothing I could associate with what's been posted so far. Expand?

Thanks,
Jim

mmerc refered to the red block letters fraction printed on either side of 'ONE CENTAVO'
