What do you guys think about this coin my buddy picked up? He is a long time collector, just getting into gold coins. Is it MS?

The pics are not too good so there's no way to evaluate the surfaces. Looks like it could be AU+ to low MS. At that price, it sold at AU money.

It looks like it is at least mid AU and there is a good chance that it is MS. Pictures showing the luster would be needed to give a more accurate opinion.

Exactly, looks good it's all dependent on the luster and any luster breaks or rubs.

As stated, the pictures aren't too great, but by the looks of it, the coin seems as if its a high-end AU to low MS.
