Greeting ALL, 2nd posting in this arena. A slabbed 1894 Ho Mexico 8-Reales, graded MS. It has flashy fields with rich, streaky golden toning and device contrast. I am not mentioning the grade as I believe it was not graded correctly. I would appreciate this forum's membership to examine my coin images and let me know what they think....
This coin is awesome. I like the toning, and the strike is exceptional! I've never seen this much detail on a coin of this type. I'm guessing it's not all that common. It makes me want to look for a nice example to add to my collection. Great coin.
I don't know much about this particular coin. If I had sent a coin from countries I am familiar with that looks like this coin, I would probably expect a MS 62-63 because of the marks above and below the Libertad.
Nice color! The branch mints are tough to grade, particularly Hermosillo. The peripheral points of the rays are iffy. Lack of detail on the cactus. Maybe uneven strike. I guess 62/63.
