Hi everyone, I attended a small auction where I came upon a lot with 6 pennies in it. Paid around $25 for the set. A couple 1909 p's, couple vdb's, a 1960 D lincoln and a 1966 lincoln. I noticed the two oddball coins were off center. So I figured ok must be worth a few bucks and thats what the auction thought they were selling(?). The 1960 D lincoln memorial seemed to be just your average off-center coin. The 1966 p Lincoln was a very nice grade DDR. So not only is this coin off center it is a great DDR as well. I would love to hear opinions on what the coin may be worth and if it is worthy of slabbing.
I agree. Lots of Machine Doubling, but not a doubled die. I also don't see any sign of it being off center, but it looks like a slightly misaligned die.
