The variety of coins being posted both old and new is amazing. As a collector of the 'oldies' seeing two 1795's in one day is just unbelievable! Normally I let our 1916 Standing Liberty quarter "Whisperer", Johnny 54321 ("Countdown") quantify how he determines the year 1916 from the 1917, but last time this topic came up I saved his explanatory slides and will post them for us all to review. (One of the very biggest give-aways is the lack of shield rivets on the 1916. The 1917 has VERY pronounced rivets all the way down to FR grade). Ahh, your seated half is a beauty DoubleEagle! I had a hard time coming up with number 3.
