My wife and I are really happy for two of our kids today. Both reported they had received their ASE 20th Anniversary sets. Our daughter had lost her confirmation number, and our oldest son had ordered very late. So, we doubted either would get their coins. The daughter got her three sets, one for her and one for each of her kids, and our son received 10 sets. So, again, we are happy for the kids.

Wow!
Ten Sets! Congratulations that it arrived! Did you buy it off the mint?

Sounds like they did very well, in this new year. It's even better when you have had to wait and not be sure they were even coming.
Sounds like the son may be following someones advice on the purchase of silver coins.

thekidcollector: The 10 sets were purchased by our oldest son. He ordered them from the mint.
Old Dan: You are right, and I hope I don't ever give him poor advise regarding coins.

Congratulations on the accomplishment. Isn't that great that as we get older we get so much enjoyment out of what our children get and accomplish. Sounds like you are blessed with a super family. Best Wishes.

I also received my 20th Ann Silver set yesterday.
I received notification on the 28th that it had shipped, but before then I really doubted I would get it.
Now I've got to send out some feelers locally to see if there is anyone paying a premium for the sealed sets. I doubt that'll work out for me though. For one thing, the box doesn't have any indication of what's inside.

Hey there Mick! Are you real sure there is anythng in the box? Remember, don't shake it, as the coins may have come out of their holders and laying loose. (If they are actually in their, of course)

Dan,
I'm traveling for work on Monday. Maybe I should take them and have them x-rayed by TSA!

Texasmick, You can't tell from the outside of the box? I know I mistakenly opened my first set of gold and silver coins because I didn't know what the package was or who "Fulfillment Center" was. Oops. Oh well, they are beautiful to look at. You should have an order number or some type of shipping number on the label. When you received the email from the mint saying they shipped, then one or both of those numbers will be in the email. I hope it's not an empty box! That would be terrible
