So I have been thinking of buying gloves and I have seen that many sets of gloves are relatively cheap. However, I deal only with circulated money and coin rolls I get from the bank atm.Is it necessary to get gloves dealing with circulated coins?

When I'm roll hunting I like to wear the cheap ones that come in a box of 100 from beauty supply stores. Not to protect the coins but my hands.

+1 on gloves unless you like black hands.

In march of this year I had a pair of white gloves I used for circulated/roll hunting. It's now December and the very same pair of gloves is a greenish black color.

Your hands won't damage a circulated coin.

That's one reason most circulated coins look the way they do, from thousands of folks handling them, getting dirt and contaminants on them. Also after handling copper pennies barehanded for just a few minutes, your hands get dirty. So wearing gloves can help both ways. They are very cheap on ebay.

Hmmm, I wonder if I would spend less money on gloves than I do on Lava soap after searching through many rolls?

Great idea to protect my hand - I may have to look into this.

I think of it this way, it's either the gloves or your hands. I personally don't mind as I can always wash them after I get done searching, but a lot of people like using them.
