Just got this in the mail. Besides the obvious there's a crack starting in the are in Regina going into the hair and following the top of the head, also a small one at the end of the eye brow going into the hair.

If you will check the new Whitman catalog, bt DR> James Haxby, you might find your answer.
Otherwise, although he is very busy, with his new site, you could either email him, or contact him via the site, and ask there. The site deals only with the 1859N9 large cent, and thr dies, and die marriages to that date, which includes some of the transitory dies from the wide 1859/8 dies.

and the whole neckline seems to be a DC...normally it would be smooth...looks like they tried to refurbish the die

Yes Malibu it is, it starts at the rim going through the C and following the neckline.
