So....I picked up this roll about 10 years ago and forgot about it. Thought it may be a prime roll of 67 pennies. Now that I look at it though, it has CIBC on the paper. Question is, should I open the roll and see what is inside? Has anyone else run across something similar? I have attached (some really horrible) pictures.
Thanks in advance.

Opening the old roll isn't gonna destroy in any way the value of the coins. But it's your choice to respect, but if you do POST PICS

Well....it was a roll of 67's. My card reader is not working right now so I cannot show photos. Still not a bad deal though.

So, card reader is working and an image. The close up is typical of about half of the pennies.

"pretty penny"

=> man, I've always loved the ol' 1967 centennial coins ... I'm glad to hear that there were some keepers in those rolls!

Happy New Year!

Another interesting note is the word "coppers"
I haven't heard that term used in many years.
Today it is pennies or cents.
Mostly the term cents is used now.
Still Very nice Cornet
